Thailand exported approximately USD 22-25 billion in automotive parts and components in 2024 per Thai Customs and FTI data, with Japan, ASEAN, North America, and the Middle East as the largest destinations. The Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) is the principal manufacturing base for tier-1 suppliers including Denso, Aisin, Bridgestone, and Sumitomo Wiring. EV-related component exports (motors, controllers, battery packs) remain a small share but are growing as Chinese OEM platforms locate component production in Rayong and Chachoengsao.
