Thailand total vehicle production (2020-2025)

Thailand produced approximately 1.47 million vehicles in 2024 according to the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) Automotive Industry Club, down from a 1.88 million unit peak in 2022 as domestic demand softened on tight auto-loan conditions and weaker pickup exports. The 2020 COVID trough was ~1.43M, the 2021-2023 range hovered around 1.7-1.9M. FTI projects roughly 1.5M for 2025 as inventory normalises. Production is split roughly 50:50 between domestic sales and exports, with Toyota, Honda, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, and Mazda as the largest OEM producers.
