Thailand produces approximately 4.5-5 million tonnes of natural rubber per year, making it the world's largest producer and exporter. Output is concentrated in the South (Surat Thani, Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat) and increasingly in the Northeast (Isan). The Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT) and the Agriculture Futures Exchange of Thailand (AFET) are primary statistical sources.
