The TAT 2025 long-stay retiree feasibility study and Bangkok Post field reporting identify seven distinct Thai foreign-retiree senior-living clusters: Phuket (Mai Khao, Cherng Talay, Layan), Hua Hin (Cha-Am to Pranburi), Chiang Mai (Mae Rim, Hang Dong, San Kamphaeng), Khao Yai (Pak Chong, Mu Si), Pattaya (Jomtien, Pratumnak, East Pattaya), Krabi (Ao Nang) and Koh Samui (Choeng Mon, Bophut).
