Thailand international tourism receipts (2019-2024)
~THB 1.67T (2024)
International tourism receipts reached approximately THB 1.67 trillion in 2024 per the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, recovering to about 87% of the 2019 record of THB 1.91 trillion despite arrivals lagging at 89% β a function of shorter trips and lower per-head spend by recovering Chinese mass-market segments. The Bank of Thailand's tourism balance of payments tracks a parallel series at slightly higher values (~THB 1.78T) because it includes more spending categories. Tourism represents roughly 11-12% of Thai GDP including domestic spending.
