Chinese arrivals at roughly 6.7 million represented about 19% of Thailand's 35.5 million international visitors in 2024 per MOTS, followed by Malaysia at 4.95M (14%), India at 2.13M (6%), South Korea at 1.87M (5%), Russia at 1.75M (5%), and Laos at 1.13M (3%). The Chinese share remained below the 28-30% pre-pandemic peak as outbound travel from China continued normalising. India, South Korea, and Russia gained share materially over 2019 levels.
