Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) serves 74 of Thailand's 77 provinces (all except Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan, which fall under MWA) through more than 230 branch offices, per PWA operational statistics. PWA's customer base exceeds 4 million accounts. The agency contracts treated-water supply from private concessionaires including TTW (Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Pathumthani-Rangsit), Bangkok Water Quality Management (Pathumthani), and BEM-affiliated concession entities. In 2024, PWA partnered with the Royal Thai Army to deploy 234 free public drought-relief water points nationwide.
