Watchpoints

Watchpoint

RCEP and FTA utilization

DITP plays a key role in educating Thai exporters on RCEP certificate-of-origin requirements. Low SME utilization of RCEP tariff preferences remains a policy gap β€” DITP's export-readiness programs are the primary vehicle to close it.

Watchpoint

China market agri-export promotion

Thai durian, tropical fruit, and processed-food exports to China are a DITP priority. Phytosanitary protocol negotiations, China's e-commerce import-channel promotion (Tmall, JD.com), and post-COVID trade-mission resumption are execution priorities.

Watchpoint

Digital-export marketplace traction

DITP's push to connect Thai SMEs with Lazada, Alibaba, and Amazon cross-border e-commerce channels tests whether traditional trade-promotion methods can be supplemented with direct digital-export capability building.
