AOT concession

Duty-free concession renewal risk

King Power's airport duty-free concession agreements with AOT are periodically renewed. AOT's concession-fee renegotiation and competitive-tender risk is the primary structural risk to King Power Group's revenue base.

Succession

Aiyawatt leadership continuity

Aiyawatt 'Top' Srivaddhanaprabha has led King Power since Vichai's 2018 death. Establishing a stable second-generation governance structure for the privately held group is an ongoing priority.

Tourism recovery

International tourist volume

King Power duty-free revenues are directly linked to international tourist arrivals at Thai airports. Full recovery to the 39.9M pre-COVID (2019) international-arrival level drives duty-free spend volume.
