The Royal Thai Army operates roughly 60 VT-4 main battle tanks (Chinese Norinco) delivered in two tranches between 2017 and 2021, alongside ~130 General Dynamics Stryker 8x8 infantry carriers procured under a US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) package signed 2019-2022 and delivered through 2024. The Stryker fleet replaces aging V-150 Commando armoured personnel carriers. M1126 ICV (Infantry Carrier Vehicle) variants form the bulk; mortar-carrier and reconnaissance variants are also in service. IISS Military Balance 2024 catalogues full fleet inventories.
