Thailand top EPC contractor backlog (2024)

Italian-Thai Development PLC (ITD) leads Thailand's tier-1 EPC contractor universe with an estimated THB 230-250 billion 2024 year-end backlog, followed by CH. Karnchang PCL (SET:CK) at THB 160-180B (heavy in hydropower and Bangkok mass transit), STECON Engineering PLC (SET:STEC, formerly Sino-Thai) at THB 90-110B, and Unique Engineering and Construction PCL (SET:UNIQ) at THB 35-45B. The big-4 cumulative backlog of ~THB 550B represents 3.5-4.5 years of revenue cover and is concentrated in Bangkok MRT lines (Orange, Pink, Yellow, Purple extensions), expressway segments, BMA flood works, and the EEC industrial buildout.
