Thailand Board of Investment Section 8 R&D incentives effective Q1 2026 grant a 10-year corporate-income-tax holiday plus a 50% credit on AI and ML compute spend for biopharma R&D activities, the most aggressive AI drug discovery incentive stack in ASEAN. The Section 8 designation accepts foreign-domiciled IP holders provided they establish a Thai-domiciled R&D subsidiary, opening the door for Insilico Medicine, Atomwise, Exscientia, Iktos, and BenevolentAI to land Thailand entities under the incentive.
