The Thailand Board of Investment Targeted Industries A4 Section 8 schedule (medical and wellness tourism premium tier) grants 0 percent import duty on hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) chambers, plasmapheresis and therapeutic plasma exchange machines, body composition analysers (DEXA, InBody) and full-genome sequencing instruments. The compounding effect with the medical-device-manufacturing incentive shaves roughly 18 to 24 percent off the all-in equipment capex bill for a hospital-owned longevity wing. Bumrungrad VitalLife, BDMS Bangkok Hospital Longevity Center, Samitivej Sukhumvit and BNH have all secured Section 8 certificates for FY2025 to FY2027 equipment procurement.
