Standard T-VER credit prices averaged approximately THB 220 per tonne of CO2-equivalent in 2024 (roughly USD 6-7), up from THB 35 per tCO2e in 2020 as corporate net-zero demand outpaced supply. Premium T-VER credits (additionality-tested, third-party audited methodology) trade at THB 400-600 per tCO2e, with nature-based methodologies (mangrove restoration, afforestation) commanding the top of the range. Prices remain well below EU Allowance (EU ETS) levels at EUR 65-85 per tonne, leaving sustained Thai-exporter cost gap on CBAM compliance.
