EA Amita lithium-ion installed capacity (2023-2025)
1-2 GWh (phase-1)
Energy Absolute (SET:EA) operates the Amita Technology Thailand pouch-cell gigafactory in Chachoengsao with a phase-1 installed capacity of 1 GWh per year, commissioned in 2021. The facility is expanding toward 2 GWh of installed capacity in 2024-2025, with stated potential to reach 4 GWh on the existing footprint and a longer-horizon ambition of 50 GWh announced as ASEAN's largest battery factory. The 90-rai EEC site hosts more than 80,000 sqm of production area. Cells supply EA's MINE Mobility electric-bus and electric-boat fleet plus its grid-storage portfolio. Commissioning timing has been subject to revision amid global lithium supply-chain pressures.
