Premium T-VER approved methodology count
~14 methodologies (2024)
TGO had approved approximately 14 Premium T-VER methodologies by end-2024, covering afforestation/reforestation, mangrove restoration, soil carbon, biochar, biogas (livestock and wastewater), solar PV, biomass cogeneration, methane avoidance, energy-efficiency in buildings, and clean cooking stoves. Premium T-VER applies stricter additionality testing, more frequent verification, and aligned standards to Verra (VCS) and Gold Standard requirements, allowing dual-listing potential. Approximately 50 Premium T-VER projects are registered as of end-2024, generating an estimated 1.2 MtCO2e of high-integrity credits per year at maturity.
