The Thailand Professional Qualification Institute's February 2026 Vocational Qualification Framework update adds 184 new occupational standards across digital, cobot, healthcare and hospitality domains, bringing the total framework to roughly 1,180 occupational standards. The framework defines the credential alignment between private operators (Skooldio, Toby, BorntoDev), employer academies (KASIKORN, SCB Future, PTT, CP All, AIS, True), hyperscaler co-fund programmes (AWS, Google, Microsoft) and Thai government recognition. Programmes aligned to a TPQI standard unlock the Revenue Department's 250 percent deduction multiplier, an effective 25 to 35 percent gross-margin uplift for the employer-paid cohort.
